A Longines Family member since the 2018, Marco Odermatt has set himself apart as one of the best skiers of his generation. Following his first competition at the age of 4, the young athlete, from the canton of Nidwald, quickly joined the Hergiswil Ski Club, where he developed his talent.

In 2016, Marco made his FIS Alpine World Cup debut in Saint-Moritz, and claimed his first Junior World Championship title in giant slalom, along with a bronze medal in super-G in Sochi’s Junior World Ski Championships the same year.

In 2018, the young athlete won no fewer than five gold medals in the Junior World Ski Championship, held in Davos, Switzerland (downhill, super-G, giant slalom, combined, team event), making him the second best junior skier in history.

Following his first two World Cup podiums in giant slalom, in Kranjska Gora and Soldeu in the 2018/2020 season, he claimed his first World Cup title the next season, in super-G, in Beaver Creek.

Since then, Marco has been enjoying a string of successes, with notably an impressive second place in Super-G in Kitzbühel during the 2020/2021 season and his achievements as the crystal globe winner and winner of the giant slalom globe in the 2021/2022 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup.

The accomplished athlete enjoyed a comet-like rise and continued to prove unstoppable during the 2022/2023 season with five victories in World Cup giant slalom since October 2022. At the 2023 World Ski Championships in Courchevel Méribel, Marco became Double World Champion in downhill and giant slalom, demonstrating his excellence in these disciplines.
