James McDonald honoured as the 2024 Longines World’s Best Jockey

With a string of successes achieved during his 2024 racing season, James McDonald was honoured as the 2024 Longines World’s Best Jockey on December 6 at the Longines Hong Kong International Races Gala Dinner. In recognition of his exceptional achievement, the New Zealand-born, Australia-based jockey was presented with a Longines timepiece as well as a crystal vase by Matthias Breschan, Longines CEO, and Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Chairman of the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA).
