
Triumph for Elizabeth Madden and Breitling LS at the 2018 Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Final
Paris (France) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), 15 April 2018 – USA’s Elizabeth Madden riding Breitling LS captured the Longines FEI World CupTM Jumping Final in Paris, of which Longines is the Title Partner, Official Timekeeper and Watch. American rider Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue ranked second ahead of Sweden’s Henrik von Eckermann and Toveks Mary Lou. The grand Final marked the end of a remarkable season during which top-level riders and horses competed in the three regional leagues – Western European, North American and China – to qualify for the coveted Final. Besides, Longines and the FEI were delighted to celebrate equestrian excellence during the first Longines FEI World’s Best Jumping Horse and Rider Awards Ceremony held at the iconic Mairie de Paris on Wednesday 11 April. On this occasion, American mare HH Azur and USA’s rider Kent Farrington were honoured.
