
Launch of a brand new season of the Longines Global Champions Tour in Mexico City
Mexico City (Mexico) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), 24 April 2018 – Mexico City hosted this weekend the season opener of the 2018 Longines Global Champions Tour, which the Swiss watch brand Longines supports as the Title Partner and Official Timekeeper. This stage, which sees the world's best riders jump at 2,000 metres above sea level, was marked by the victory of Scott Brash on Ursula XII in the Longines Global Champions Grand Prix of Mexico City. The Tour will then head down to breathtaking destinations such as Miami Beach, Shanghai, Saint-Tropez, London, Rome, before heading to the final stage, the Longines Global Champions Super Grand Prix, held in Prague, in December. The Official Watch of the Mexican leg is the Conquest V.H.P. “Very High Precision” model, representing a new achievement in the field of quartz, combining great precision, high technicality and a sporty look, marked by the brand’s unique elegance.
