Longines Future Ski Champions : The best international young skiers faced off during the FIS Alpine World Cup Finals

Åre (Sweden) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), 16 March 2018 – Longines was proud to present the fifth edition of the Longines Future Ski Champions race, which brought together the twelve best male skiers under 16 years old in Åre, Sweden, where the FIS Alpine World Cup Finals are currently taking place. Representing Italy, Lorenzo Thomas  Bini won the race, a giant slalom in two runs, with a time of 2:12.16, followed by Benjamin Hoareau from France (+0.31) and Anton Rösnäs from Sweden (+1.59). The champion was presented with a trophy, as well as a Longines timepiece. The event was also under the patronage of Longines Ambassadors of Elegance Aksel Lund Svindal and Mikaela Shiffrin, who is currently leading the ladies World Cup overall ranking.
