The Longines Prize for Elegance to be awarded to the most elegant gymnasts
41st Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2009 in London
Saint-Imier (Switzerland) / London (England), October 13th, 2009 - In cooperation with the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), Longines will be awarding the prestigious Longines Prize for Elegance at the 41st Artistic Gymnastics World Championships 2009 in London. The prize honors the female and male gymnasts judged to be the most elegant during an Artistic or Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship competition. The winners of the Longines Prize for Elegance will receive the famous statue by Swiss artist Jean-Pierre Gerber, a Conquest watch as well as a check worth US$ 5,000. Furthermore, Longines is proud to announce its new Ambassador of Elegance is Ariella Kaeslin, the European vault Champion as well as all-around bronze medalist.
