Hoppegarten, Berlin (Germany) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), 14 August 2016 – After its unveiling in Australia last year, the Longines Positioning System was used for the first time in Europe on Sunday. This innovative system of timekeeping in horseracing, developed by the Swiss watch brand, timed the victory of Eduardo Pedroza at the Longines Grosser Preis von Berlin. In addition to being the Official Timekeeper of the Hoppegarten racecourse, Longines was delighted to be for the first time the Title Partner and the Official Watch of this world-class race day.
