
Senga imposes herself in the 2017 Prix de Diane Longines
Chantilly (France) / St. Imier (Switzerland), 18 June 2017 – The filly Senga,
mounted by Stéphane Pasquier, imposed
herself in the Prix de Diane Longines, the world's top race for fillies, in
front of tens of thousands spectators. The Swiss watch brand, which lends its
name to one of the most expected horseraces and serves as its Official
Timekeeper for the seventh time, celebrated this amazing victory by presenting
the filly’s owner, trainer and jockey with an elegant Longines watch. Longines
also granted to the winner of the fashion contest “Mademoiselle Diane par
Longines” prize one of its elegant timepieces, which as the same model as the
Official Watch of the Prix de Diane Longines. Mikaela Shiffrin, Longines
Ambassador of Elegance and American alpine skier, winner of the World Cup
overall title, Olympic champion and triple World champion in slalom, attended
the event and handed the rewarded watches to the winners of the day.
