The Prix de Diane Longines 2012 lived up to all expectations this Sunday in Chantilly. Horse Valyra and jockey John Patrick Murtagh runed the 2,100 meters of the race in 2:10:11 in front of an audience of 40,000 people captivated by the elegance of the day. Longines, which celebrates its 180th anniversary, was for the second year in a row partner of this exceptional event and took the opportunity to introduce its new Longines Ambassador of Elegance, the actor Simon Baker. The Swiss watch brand also promoted the champions of tomorrow with the Prix Longines Future Racing Stars. The competition was also intense out of the racetrack with the Prize for Elegance “Mademoiselle Diane par Longines”. The new line of the brand, The Longines Saint-Imier Collection and the sweet concert of Ayo highlighted this great race day.
