Tokyo (Japan) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), 27 November 2016 – The 36th edition of the Japan Cup in association with Longines was won by Yutaka Take on Japan’s Kitasan Black. The winning horse’s owner, trainer and jockey were awarded an elegant Longines watch from the Swiss watchmaker, which was the Title Partner, the Official Timekeeper and the Official Watch of Japan’s richest race. During the race day, Longines Ambassador of Elegance Simon Baker also granted a timepiece to the winners of the Longines Prize for Elegance, Ms Eimi Kuroda and Mr Shuntaro Yanagi.
