Josh Kerr’s 2022 season got off to a brilliant start. The British middle-distance runner, who was born in Edinburgh, set a new British and European indoor mile record in February in Boston. But the accomplishment was even more impressive: With his time of 3:48.87, he not only broke the European mile record, set in 1983, he also set a British 1500m record en route to the finish line. Longines is delighted to announce that this talented runner is part of its Longines 2022 Commonwealth Games Team and looks forward to timing every breathtaking step in Birmingham.
