Saint-Moritz (Switzerland) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), March 19, 2016 – As Partner and Official Timekeeper of the FIS, Longines celebrates the end of each alpine ski season by awarding the Longines Rising Ski Stars prize to athletes who have distinguished themselves as the best female skier (under 21) and the best male skier (under 23) respectively, in the FIS Alpine World Cup circuit. This year, this prize was awarded to two well-known recipients; American skier and Longines Ambassador of Elegance Mikaela Shiffrin, who received the prize for the fourth consecutive season, and Norwegian skier Henrik Kristoffersen, who also clinched the title last year.
