Ambassadors of elegance
Andre Agassi is one of the greatest tennis players ever. Nicknamed "the Kid of Las Vegas", he has won all four Grand Slam singles titles, without mentioning his victories in Davis Cup, Masters Series and an Olympic gold medal. His duels with Pete Sampras, amazing moments of sport became the dominant rivalry in tennis of the 1990's. Agassi's game was famous for its precision and its exceptional timing. He also had a remarkable endurance and was extremely combative. Agassi's unique style, his kindness and the emotions he was transmitting while playing made him the most popular tennis player of his time. In 2006, Las Vegas' player, aged 36 retires, ending his career with 60 singles titles.
Agassi is married to Stefanie Graf (2001). The couple has two children. Since retiring, Agassi has been devoted to his family and his charitable work through The Andre Agassi Charitable Fondation (founded in 1994) to assist the youth of Las Vegas and provide them educational opportunities. He also opened up a public school in his home town in 2001 for at-risk children.
