Timed by Longines, the FIS World Cup Finals took place this week in Courchevel-Meribel in the beautiful French Alps, and ended a 2021/2022 season that saw the brand's athletes claim the overall titles. In fact, American superstar Mikaela Shiffrin won her fourth World Cup title – the second most in women’s history. Mikaela had won three crystal globes in a row between 2017 and 2019 and demonstrated that she remains one of her sport’s greatest competitors. Swiss giant slalom sensation Marco Odermatt ended an incredible season with his own crystal globe. The 24-year-old became the first Swiss man to do so since 2010. Longines congratulates its World Cup champions and all the great skiers who are part of its impressive family.
