Longines, official timekeeper of the Athina Onassis Horse Show

Rio de Janeiro (Brasil) / Saint-Imier (Switzerland), 9 October 2012 –Steve Guerdat (Switzerland), riding Nino des Buissonnets, triumphed in the Grand Prix of the Athina Onassis Horse Show. The Swiss rider and Olympic champion achieved a great performance in the jump-off and he has been awarded with a prize of 330,000 Euros and a watch from The Longines Saint-Imier Collection. Philipp Weishaupt (Germany) won the Longines Cup. Riding Leoville, the German was the fastest rider at the jump-off of the Longines Cup as he completed the course on a zero score and a time of 34’’40. Longines was for the first time the official timekeeper of the Athina Onassis Horse Show held at the Brazilian Equestrian Society in Rio de Janeiro. The Swiss watchmaker was also the official partner of the Longines Cup on Saturday.
