Saint-Imier (Switzerland) / St. Moritz (Switzerland), 15 March 2016 – In the context of the FIS Alpine World Cup Finals, the Swiss watch brand Longines presented the third edition of the Longines Future Ski Champions, held for the very first time in the Swiss alpine resort of St. Moritz. The competition, which gives the best international skiers under 16 years old the opportunity to compete under the exact same conditions as the professionals, was fiercely contested amongst the 14 athletes. Joshua Sturm from Austria was crowned champion, while Benjamin Ritchie (USA) and Augustin Bianchini (FRA) completed the podium. Mikaela Shiffrin, Longines Ambassador of Elegance lent her support to the up-and-coming skiers as the patron of the event.
